Private Portraiture
Helping you prepare: We will arrange a first meeting to plan the location and style of your shoot. This is a casual meeting that helps us get to know one another before the camera enters the picture. We will also select your wardrobe and any other props you may want to include. I have a collection of clothing and accessories for both men and women that are for your use as well. I work with several boutiques, hat stores and prop companies, so if you are looking for a geisha kimono, or vintage snake skin jacket, I can find it for you. If you decide to use a stylist, you may invite your own, or ask me for a recommendation. Most importantly, we create an environment which reflects what's important in your life and allows you to feel comfortable.

A few examples are that I may use heirlooms in the set, or replicate an antique photograph of a relative that you especially like. If you are unfamiliar with boudoir, but would like to offer your partner a portrait, we can work with different styles until you are comfortable.

I have been involved with the arts since I was very young, and photography became my medium of choice because of the interactions I am able to have with others. I am genuinely interested in the people I am shooting and I want to create with you a one of a kind portrait that is born from a collaboration between us.

Pricing:
• $750 1/2-day shoot. Includes 1 professionally retouched 8x10 archival print and a CD of select images for use in email and website. Additional custom and large-format prints are available for purchase.
• $1200 full-day shoot. Includes 2 professionally retouched 8x10 archival prints and a CD of select images for use in email and website. Additional custom and large-format prints are available for purchase.
• For portraits on anodized aluminum plates: Add an additional $1000. Includes retouching, creating negatives, treating plates, darkroom and chemical fees, archival toning, framing, etc.
Headshots / Comp Cards
I have worked extensively in the film and music video industry and know how important a headshot is in capturing the initial attention of a director or agent. Since headshots on average are given 2 seconds of consideration, your print needs to stand-out above others. Together we will decide on the best looks for you, take into consideration what aspect of the industry you are approaching (film, fashion, acting...), which moods you wish to express, and accentuate your best assets. The eyes are the window to the soul, and capturing the essence behind that is most important in what gives you a brilliant portrait or headshot.

I use my experience as a costume and prop designer, casting agent and artistic director, to help you choose your looks, locations, and expressions. I enjoy sharing with my models the psychology behind using certain colors, props and lighting so they understand photography better. I will never rush you.

Professional retouching of one photograph is included in each quote and may include: Removal of blemishes, scars, dark circles, or other "imperfections" you want removed, image color and level adjustments, and image cropping and scaling.

Make-Up: I work closely with a professional hair and make-up person to help you look your best for your photo-shoot. If you already have a favorite, they are welcome to attend the shoot. It is recommended you use a professional make-up artist to ensure you look your best for your headshot.
